Mohankhal FRH is 82km from Gopeshwar and 8km from Pokhri. Siturated at 2131m it was bult in 1958-59. Since it is situated deep in the reserve forests wild animals and bird are heard all the time. Chopta is 18km from here and is one of the most picturesque sports in the Garhwal region. Situated an altitude of 2900m, it offers a breathtaking view of the majestic peaks and draws tourist when it snows.
