Kalika FRH is situated 7km from Ranikhet off the Ranikhet-Almora road, and was built in 1906 at an altitude of 1798m. Close to the 9 hole golf course, it is the next best option if the FRH at Ranikhet is not available. At a distance of 25km from Kalika are the stone cut temples of Dwarahat.
