Jarmola FRH built in 1963 is on the Naugaon-Purola-Mori road. It is situated on a hill top at an altitude of 1721m, just below the Jarmola dhar. This dhar is the watershed between the Tons and Yamuna river. View of Kedarkantha and Changshil peaks is very enchanting from the FRH. The slopes around are very gentle and easy to trek. The trek from the FRH to Jarmola dhar is 4km and further to kedarkantha bugyal 20km. Forests of rhododendron and mixed oak forest on the slopes make it a cool trek in summer. A slow 20kms drive from Jarmola to Khunigad is also very scenic. The FRH also has a herbal garden.
